Media Tonic hook up RAC and Wildcats

The Perth Wildcats today announced a sponsorship arrangement with the RAC. It’s a deal that includes corporate hospitality, ticketing opportunities, on-court promotions and community engagements. Vodafone have a new interactive advertising campaign – a Dedicated Advertiser Location (DAL: a new TLA) – promoting their mobile Rugby TV channel. Meantime, MCn shows all 40 pool games from the Rugby World Cup live on FOX SPORTS. Vodafone is the first company in Australia to use its logo as an interactive offer icon. [...]

Indispensable media

A recent consumer survey by In-Stat in the UK asked people which media they find most indispensable. Broadband internet was the top choice. Interesting, the research showed subscription TV in second place, more highly rated than cellphones or land-line phones.
