Subscription’s summer

There are now 6.2 million STV subscribers; they spent 62% of their TV viewing time watching subscription channels. MCn’s audience was 21.7% higher year on year. Free to Air stations lost 3.5 share points year on year.

New record for STV

Subscription TV continues to blitz it, Donna, with a highest-ever monthly share in December of 24.8%. (Based on metro homes). Not only do advertisers get a high share of households, they are 26% more likely than non-subscribers to have a household size of 5 or more.
